The Times, one of the most respected and influential news sources in the world, relocated its Business Desk from London, UK, to the Middle East for one week during The Times Gulf Business Forum to focus on the Gulf as a crucial centre of global business.

From Sunday October 28 to Friday November 4, 2007, business leaders met with The Times journalists to discuss regional and global business issues. The award-winning editorial team, led by Editor In Chief James Harding, toured the region and met with leaders, CEOs and ministers in the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar. These meetings contributed to the business content over the following weeks and months.
